The Bad-Tempered Ladybird

I have recently been lucky enough to observe The Bad-Tempered Ladybird being recreated by a bunch of smiley and ever-patient 9-year-olds. This was one of my favourite books as a child, and I’m happy to report that they’ve done the book proud! The class is a big one, so they have been divided into two groups. While one group is rehearsing with the teacher’s help, the other group are completing different activities, quietly and patiently awaiting their turn. Well, that’s the idea anyway…

So, here’s a set of five different mini books to create with children, practising telling the time, as well as using sequencing skills.

And, continuing with the time-telling theme, which let’s face it is hard to avoid with this book, here’s a clock-based worksheet.
