I am a primary teacher who accidentally fell into a TEFL career soon after completing my post-graduate teacher training. I’ve lived and taught in seven countries so far, all of which have been fascinating. I’m currently mentoring Malaysian English teachers on the island of Borneo, in a participatory project with the British Council, where my main focus is trying to get books into schools, and supporting my teachers in increasing literacy in their classrooms. It’s a great job – and I get to travel all over south-east Asia too!

I enjoy making resources – I spend far too much time on getting everything just right – and want to share them with other teachers. Sharing is caring, as my teachers are always reminding me!
